Abstract: The Fifth Generation (5G) communication technology will deliver faster data speeds and support numerous new applications such as virtual and augmented reality. The additional need for a larger number of 5G base stations has sparked widespread public concerns about their possible negative health impacts.
This agrees with measurements done in other countries whose authors conclude that the exposure to 5G signals is limited, , , but this does not assure the base station compliance as full load situation should be considered for such assessment. It also shows that the increase in the EMF field is due to the induced data traffic.
5G communication performance is highly correlated with the locations of cellular base stations (BSs). Many previous works have studied the placement of BSs, how
1. Introduction With the rapid development of 5G mobile communication technology, the number of 5G users has significantly increased, leading to a corresponding expansion in network capacity . To meet the growing user demand, researchers have begun to focus on improving the throughput of base stations (e.g. Refs. [2, 3]).
The additional need for a larger number of 5G base stations has sparked widespread public concerns about their possible negative health impacts.
The use of broadband field probes for 5G exposure assessment is still possible under certain considerations and correcting the results considering the base station load and beamforming
The rapid and nationwide expansion of fifth-generation (5G) wireless cellular technology infrastructure in China has prompted serious public concerns, predominantly due to the potential
